Jakarta – Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the vice presidential candidate number two from the Koalisi Indonesia Maju, said the importance of supporting the creative economic industry. One way is by providing easy financing facilities.
Gibran explained that the creative economic industry has grown rapidly during the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to develop to this day. Therefore, it is very important for the government to continue to support, especially in nurturing start-ups.
He gave an example in Solo where there is a special start-up program in local banks that helps with initial capital. This is done to make it easier for young people to develop their businesses when they do not have assets that can be used as collateral.
“If there is Bank Jateng here that provides a special start-up program. We create start-ups that do not have assets yet, they can access capital without collateral, that’s the most important thing,” said Gibran in an interview titled “Info A1 This Time Gibran Talks Long, Ready for Debate?” through YouTube, Wednesday (6/12/2023).
He continued, this program can be the basis for the government to make it easier for players in the creative industry throughout Indonesia.
