Magelang — Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was warmly welcomed by Magelang residents as he exited the Military Academy following the three-day Merah Putih Cabinet Retreat on Sunday (Oct. 27).
Crowds of locals eagerly gathered outside the main gate of the Military Academy, waiting for a glimpse of Prabowo. As the academy gates opened, Prabowo, still dressed in his dark blue uniform with a matching cap and sunglasses, was met with enthusiastic cheers from the crowd calling his name.
“Pak Prabowo! Pak Prabowo! Look over here, Sir!” the crowd called out with joy.
Standing through the sunroof of the Maung Garuda MV3 vehicle by PT Pindad, Prabowo returned the greeting, waving to the left and right and occasionally saluting the people.
For the past three days, Prabowo and the Merah Putih Cabinet members engaged in various activities at the Military Academy, including expert briefings, marching drills, exercise, the Twilight Parade ceremony, and camaraderie-building events like a dinner and evening gathering.
Prabowo departed from the Military Academy in the Maung MV3 vehicle, traveling by road to Adi Sucipto Air Base. The President’s flight was scheduled to return to Jakarta, landing at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 1:00 PM WIB. (RR)
