President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that a total of 352 TNI soldiers are set to partake in the military parade to mark the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made prior to President Prabowo’s departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on a Thursday afternoon. Indonesia expresses its joy and gratitude for the invitation extended by the Indian government, granting Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, a prominent position in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will be comprised of 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is scheduled to engage in discussions with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, covering various aspects of bilateral cooperation, with the signing of an MoU on collaboration in areas such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology on the agenda. Furthermore, meetings with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
