President Prabowo Subianto from Indonesia received a warm welcome from Indonesian citizens upon his arrival in New Delhi, India. Accompanied by another student, Demas Fadel Anggara, they described the experience as thrilling despite some delays. Other Indonesians present, including Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo shaking hands with them upon arrival. They expressed hope for a successful working visit in India and a brighter future under Prabowo’s leadership.
Prabowo’s visit to India not only marks a new chapter in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before his departure from Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, seeing it as a great honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations. The visit also includes scheduled meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
