The launch of the Free Health Check in Schools program (CKG Sekolah) on August 4, 2025, marked a significant step towards building Indonesia’s golden generation. This initiative, part of the broader Free Health Check (CKG) program, aims to provide health screenings to students in elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide. Deputy for Information Coordination and Communication Evaluation, Fritz Edward Siregar, highlighted the importance of CKG Sekolah in preparing the next generation for a healthier future.
Under President Prabowo Subianto’s Fast Results for the Best Outcomes program, CKG Sekolah prioritizes preventive care by offering various health screenings to students. These screenings include assessments for nutritional status, physical activity levels, blood pressure, blood sugar, tuberculosis, dental health, mental health, and more. The ultimate goal is to reach 60 million beneficiaries by the end of 2025 and gradually expand the program to cover the entire Indonesian population.
During the launch event at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 8 in South Jakarta, Presidential Chief of Staff Lieutenant General (Ret.) Anto Mukti Putranto emphasized the role of parents in encouraging their children to participate in the health checks. With the support of medical personnel from local community health centers, students at MIN 8 South Jakarta were able to undergo comprehensive health assessments as part of the CKG Sekolah program.
Implemented through community health centers, integrated health posts, schools, BPJS clinics, offices, and local communities, CKG services aim to promote health awareness and preventive care. With over 15 million beneficiaries as of July 30, 2025, the program has already made a significant impact on public health. By leveraging digital platforms like the SATUSEHAT Mobile app and the Ministry of Health’s official WhatsApp channel, CKG continues to expand its reach to elementary to high school students across Indonesia.
In line with President Prabowo’s vision for a healthier nation, CKG Sekolah represents a crucial step towards fostering a culture of wellness and proactive healthcare among Indonesia’s youth. Parents, schools, and communities play pivotal roles in supporting this initiative and ensuring the well-being of future generations.
