Candra Irawan, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of Bengkulu University, recently participated in a Panel Discussion at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta with Indonesian President Prabowo and Rectors and Leaders of State and Private Universities. The discussion focused on Indonesia’s vast but underutilized natural resources, such as nickel, bauxite, and minerals, which President Prabowo highlighted as potential assets to empower the Indonesian people.
During the five-hour discussion, President Prabowo also emphasized the importance of budget-saving measures across ministries and institutions to create significant savings and drive the country towards a brighter future. By tackling leaks in the state budget and optimizing operations, Prabowo aims to free up resources for infrastructure development and overall progress in Indonesia.
Candra found Prabowo’s vision and initiatives promising, believing that efficient resource management and fiscal responsibility will lead Indonesia towards growth and development. His experience at the panel discussion left him hopeful for a better future under Prabowo’s leadership. This optimistic outlook aligns with the need for effective governance and prudent financial management to propel Indonesia’s prosperity and development.
