PPP Chairman Meets Prabowo Subianto, Commits to Supporting Prabowo-Gibran Administration

Jakarta — The Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP), Mardiono, has declared his commitment to supporting the incoming administration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo-Gibran for the 2024-2029 term.

Mardiono conveyed this commitment directly to Prabowo during his political courtesy visit at the residence on Jl. Kertanegara No. 4, South Jakarta, on Thursday evening (15/8).

“PPP has no other reason but to support the elected President Mr. Prabowo Subianto so that he can implement all the work programs that the Indonesian people are eagerly awaiting, particularly how to accelerate the welfare of the Indonesian people,” Mardiono stated after the meeting.

“Therefore, PPP is committed to supporting the government under the leadership of the new President, Mr. Prabowo Subianto,” he continued.

Additionally, Mardiono also expressed his commitment to support the conduct of local elections at the provincial and municipal levels.

“We have a commitment with the Gerindra Party to collaborate in the local elections, both at the provincial and municipal levels, and this has been ongoing since the nomination processes for these elections,” Mardiono concluded.

Mardiono and the PPP delegation also expressed their gratitude for being received during their brief political courtesy visit.

“Thank you for welcoming us to the residence of the President-elect, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, for this meeting,” said Mardiono.
